World Forum is looking for a Senior F&B Party Manager to expand the team!
How your future working day could look like:
Your normal workday starts with a cup of coffee together with your colleagues to catch up. After this, you get to work. You have some to do’s for today on the list because there is a big event to prepare. You also have a meeting with the team to go over preparations for the event with them. You are partly responsible for the running of the event, so it is important that everyone is properly instructed.

The F&B department at World Forum consists of a compact service team responsible for commercial and operational performance. For events the F&B is custom sourced from various suppliers, in which our own F&B vision is leading.
The Senior F&B Party Manager is (jointly) responsible for the result for the F&B during an event. There is close cooperation with the F&B team, F&B Manager and Duty Managers. This is a full-time position for someone who likes to get to work. It is not only a versatile, but given the character, content and complexity of the (international) events at the World Forum, certainly also a responsible position.
As Senior F&B Party Manager you will ensure that the event is executed to perfection. You make sure that all rooms are ready for any site inspections and have close contact with the F&B Sales Managers who have contact with the customer. So you make the translation to the operational work. You are responsible for setting up and dismantling events and manage all operational forces during an event.
You are expected to perfectly solve challenges in the preparations and unexpected issues during the event. You are (co-)responsible for the F&B during the event. During the event, you have a helicopter view and make sure your team performs all tasks accurately. After the event you take care of a flawless organization and coordination of the dismantling. You ensure that all administration is in order.
You are well aware of the latest trends and developments within the event industry and know how to maintain this. During an event you also supervise compliance with safety, health and safety and HACCP regulations.
For this vacancy, we are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who:
• Has at least HBO working and thinking level.
• Has at least 5 years of leadership experience in an event environment with operational tasks;
• Has demonstrable experience with volume events (1500+ participants and 50+ employees);
• Is an excellent host / hostess;
• Diploma in Social Hygiene (is an advantage);
• Full time availability and flexibility regarding working hours and tasks.
