Accessibility in the lead-up to the NATO Summit 2025
Please note: Starting mid-April, roadworks will take place around the World Forum. Theatre performances will continue as scheduled, and the World Forum will remain accessible, even during the closure of Johan de Wittlaan. Coming by car? Please allow for extra travel time and follow the directions below to reach the World Forum. Our parking garage remains available.
Directions to the World Forum during the roadworks
From President Kennedylaan:
- Follow the signs marked ‘Bestemmingsverkeer’ (Local Traffic) toward the Omniversum.
- At the intersection near the Omniversum, turn right and follow the signs for ‘Doorgaand Verkeer’ (Through Traffic).
- Drive along Johan de Wittlaan and follow the road as it curves left onto Jacob Catslaan.
- Continue on Jacob Catslaan until you reach Scheveningseweg.
- Turn left onto Scheveningseweg.
- At the next intersection with traffic lights, turn left onto Johan de Wittlaan.
- At the following intersection, you will drive against the usual traffic direction. Please follow the instructions of the traffic controllers.
From the Hubertus Viaduct:
- Exit the Hubertus Viaduct near the Leonardo Hotel.
- Follow the sign for ‘Novotel’.
- At the next intersection, continue straight (not toward Novotel) in the direction of Johan de Wittlaan. You’ll need to shift one lane to the right at this traffic light, so do not turn left.
- At the following intersection, you will drive against the usual traffic direction. Please follow the instructions of the traffic controllers.
The Hague can be easily reached from anywhere in the world. The city is located in one of the most accessible regions of Europe and has an excellent direct connection with two international airports and several train stations. Moreover The Hague has environmental friendly public transport that makes it easy to find your way.

Airports
World Forum The Hague is close to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, one of the most important airports of Europe. Daily direct flights leave this airport to over 320 European and Intercontinental destinations. The world literally comes together at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. You can reach The Hague by train within 30 minutes. If you take a car you reach the city within 35 minutes. At the airport you can take a taxi at the official taxi stand.
With our own regional airport Rotterdam The Hague airport your guest have another way of reaching The Hague. This airport also has good connections with more than 40 European city’s, like London, Geneva, Rome, Madrid and Vienna. After arrival it’s only a 30 minute drive to The Hague, with public transport the trips takes 45 minutes.

From The Hague Central Station (CS):
Take tram no. 16 direction Statenkwartier. You get off at the Statenplein stop. The walk is roughly 9 minutes to World Forum. Check the maps widget below to show the route by foot to World Forum. You can enter Zipcode 2582 EX to check the route.
From The Hague Hollands Spoor (HS):
Take tram no. 1 direction Scheveningen Noord. You get off at the World Forum stop. The walk is roughly 5 minutes to World Forum. Check the maps widget below to show the route by foot to World Forum. You can enter Zipcode 2582 EX to check the route.
Route description by car
World Forum The Hague is centrally located between the city and the beach and easily accessible by car. World Forum has a parking garage at their disposal and is located directly underneath and next to World Forum. The garage has an overhead clearance of maximum 2 meters.
Rates & payment options
The following standard rates apply for the parking garage:
Per hour € 4,00
From the 5th hour € 17,50
Event ticket (max. 12 hours) € 17,50
Day ticket (13-24 hours) € 29,50
Exit cards for the garage are available at the payment terminals in the parking garage (payment per hour) using your debit card or credit card. Please note that it is not possible to pay with cash.
Accessible parking spots
World Forum has access to 3 accessible parking spots outside, at the Churchillplein. You can use these parking spaces for free if you are in possession of a disabled card. You can also use the 4 parking spaces at -1 of our parking garage A. The entrance is located at Churchillplein. Read more about the (wheelchair) accessibility of our theater here.
Charging points
There are six charging points for electrical cars in the parking garage (parking A) of World Forum The Hague. The reimbursement will be paid by the use of a CIR pass, Central Interoperability Register.
Taxi
We have a taxi point in front of our building, together with the taxi companies we are improving air quality.
Route description by bike
World Forum has a number of outdoor cycle racks located near the main entrance. There is no charge to use the cycle racks.
