The World Forum Theater has a staffed cloakroom. The charge is € 1,50 per coat or bag. In accordance with fire regulations, no coats or bags may be taken into the theatre during performances.
The World Forum has a complete no smoking policy. In concrete terms this means smoking is no longer allowed in the building (including catering venues & parking garages). The World Forum adheres to the Dutch Tobacco Act that has been in force since 1 July 2008 nationwide in the Netherlands and requires all food and beverage establishments, theatres, conference centres and airports to be completely smoke-free. There is a designated smoking area under the awning at the main entrance for guests and visitors of the World Forum. The use of e-cigarettes and personal vaporisers is prohibited on the World Forum premises.
The World Forum Theater has good disabled access due to its wide doorways and the absence of thresholds. There are lifts to all floors and disabled toilet facilities are available on every floor. Wheelchair places are available in the theatre (timely reservation is recommended) and there is also an induction loop for the hearing impaired.
Induction loop for people with hearing impairments
The World Forum Theater (except for the balcony) has an induction loop for people with hearing aids, which enables those with hearing impairments to receive the sound properly. It is also possible to borrow an infrared receiver from the Front Office to capture the sound.
